“Art Matters” Spring Window Displays at Bergdorf Goodman

This Spring of 2014 Art is the muse for department store Bergdorf Goodman. Kicking off New York Fashion Week in collaboration with Brooklyn-based Grey Area, featuring ten artists for ten spaces.

The top carefully-assembled sculpture window is from Christopher Astley’s (accompanied by Dries Van Noten and evening frocks from new-to-BG Rafael Cennam.

best-window-displays_bergdorf-goodman_2014_spring_art-matters_04 Adam Parker Smith carefully crated three-dimensional wallpaper using objects such as butterflies, toy food and plastic necklaces.

best-window-displays_bergdorf-goodman_2014_spring_art-matters_06 Peter D. Gerakaris created the Mixed Media Installation with Origami Sculpture: Rappaccini Origami Terrarium.

best-window-displays_bergdorf-goodman_2014_spring_art-matters_07 Laura Wass created oil-slick hued headpieces and geodesic sculptures to complement looks from Tom Ford, Lanvin and Dior.
