Bergdorf Goodman collaborated with Salon 94: a participating gallery at Frieze Art Fair New York, to create installations in three 58th Street Bergdorf Goodman window displays.
The Bergdorf windows featuring contemporary artists David Benjamin Sherry, Paula Hayes, and Kueng Caputo (Sarah Kueng & Lovis Caputo), combining strong colored fuse art with fashion.
Focusing on the cohesive color themes, both contrasting hues on the Nina Ricci outfit complement the textural shading of the Kueng Caputo sculptures.
Juxtaposed with an impressive terrarium crafted by Hayes, the sculptural nature of a bold pink Lanvin gown is brought to the forefront–both the dress and the backdrop showcase soft yet dramatic lines with great volume.
The Marni ensemble’s colorful print is fully enhanced beside one of Sherry’s chromatically extreme photographs.
